Covid19: What if my dog is crated?2020-05-11T12:47:49-04:00

Please move the crate closer to the front door. Limits how far we have to go in your home to get your dog.

Covid19: How will you get my dog for a walk?2020-05-11T12:51:10-04:00

We ask that you have your dog be ready (harness or any other training device you use on) and at the front door (if possible) otherwise, I will call your dog to the door and off we go.

Covid19: How will you have Puppy Visit time?2020-05-11T12:51:40-04:00

If doable (weather pending) we will take your puppy outside for the visit. Should the weather not be cooperating we will keep the visit close to the front door to limit the amount of movement in your home. If possible, leave the front door open to allow flow of air.

Covid19: Will you wipe down my dogs leash or other items after walk?2020-05-11T12:52:13-04:00

Before Covid-19 I always used my own leashes and will continue to do so. Limits what I touch of yours. For the dogs harness or any other items your dog wears I will be sure to wipe it down. But please do so yourself if that makes you feel more comfortable.

Covid19: Will the car be cleaned?2020-05-11T12:52:50-04:00

Yes, we will make sure to wipe down surfaces in the car everyday to be sure no germs are lingering around.

Covid19: What is the new policy for meet and greets?2020-05-11T12:53:18-04:00

We do a call or video call first, if we feel this is a good match, I will come to your house where we can officially meet OUTSIDE, while keeping a 6ft distance from one another (ie: your front yard). Please bring your adorable pup with you.

Covid19: Do we wear protective gear and or have hand sanitizer while entering your home?2020-05-11T12:53:52-04:00

Yes, we always have on hand a mask, hand sanitizer and disinfectant wipes. When we can, we always wash our hands thoroughly.

Covid19: What we will do to keep ourselves, your pup and yourself safe during this trying and uncertain time?2020-05-11T12:54:38-04:00

We will do everything we can to protect ourselves and you but please make sure to take safety measures that make you feel comfortable when you return home (i.e.: wipe door handle, dogs gear, etc.). If we have Covid-19, think we have it, or have related symptoms, dog care will immediately stop till we are sure everyone is healthy.

Do you take dogs to dog parks?2025-06-09T14:48:24-04:00

Sometimes. They are not my first choice. It will depend on many factors such as, how many dogs are at the park, your dogs recall ability (many dogs parks are not fully fenced) and dangers that may arise.  I understand that dog parks can be controversial. I will always be responsible and respectful when out with your dogs. Supervision will always be maintained, and dogs will be called back throughout their play to reinforce recall.

What do you do with the dogs during extreme cold and extreme heat?2019-12-20T09:53:20-05:00

We will still walk your dog. However, we may shorten the walk. We will gauge the situation on that day.

Are you flexible with adding on additional walks/switching days or cancelling walks?2025-06-04T15:32:00-04:00

Due to the nature of our small groups and steady schedule, I will do my best to accommodate switching days and walk add ons. Cancellations made the day of will be charged the full walk. Please cancel the night before to avoid a charge.

Do you pick up and drop off the dogs?2025-06-05T08:54:56-04:00

Yes, the dogs will be going in Meg’s car. The dogs may be seat belted in. I always work with the dogs to ensure there are car manners. We even play some pretty good podcasts and music!

What time will my dog go out for a walk?2025-06-04T15:34:12-04:00

That comes down to the intersection of both your dogs and my schedule. The following are the approximate times I perform dog walks: 10:30am – 11:30am, 12:15pm – 1:15pm. These are approximate times and will vary on a daily basis.
